Toronto paramedics to deliver donations to Daily Bread Food Bank

Members of Toronto Paramedic Services, the Toronto Paramedic Association and the St. Patrick’s Day Parade Committee will deliver food donations collected from the public during the St. Patrick’s Day parade to Daily Bread Food Bank on Monday.

Location: Loading docks, Daily Bread Food Bank, 191 New Toronto St.

Several hundred kilograms of food will be delivered to Daily Bread Food Bank in an ambulance driven by Toronto paramedics, where it will be accepted and weighed.

This delivery is the culmination of a food drive started as advance St. Patrick Day Parade activity. The Toronto Paramedic Services employee portion of the food drive started February 1 and ended March 11. Monday’s delivery will include those donations as well as donations received from people who attend the St. Patrick’s Day Parade on March 13.
