On Thursday August 21, 2014, Toronto EMS Chief Paul Raftis and his senior staff, Deputy Chief Operations Garrie Wright, Deputy Chief Program Development and Service Quality Cindy Nicholson, Deputy Chief Communications Gord McEachen, and Deputy Chief Operations Support Frank Hurlehey responded to Ottawa Paramedic Services Chief Anthony Di Monte’s call to take the icebucket challenge for ALS.

The team not only took the challenge but also each made a personal donation to the fundraising effort.
