Awards to be presented to telecommunicators as key players in Toronto’s emergency services

As part of 911 Telecommunicators Week, Toronto’s police, fire and paramedic services will recognize the lifesaving services provided by their telecommunicators as “the first of the first responders.”

Parking is available in the church parking lot at the end of Lodestar Avenue. There is no entrance to the headquarters off Dufferin Street.

April 11 to 15 is 911 Telecommunicators Week in Toronto. This year is the 16th year the City of Toronto’s emergency services have partnered to appreciate the staff who handle 911 calls and dispatch emergency services personnel to the scene of fires, accidents, violent incidents and other emergencies.
